CONDUCT/OPPOSITIONAL DEFIANT DISORDER

Many children are diagnosed with this disorder and if you list the symptoms it can sound like any kid at some point in their life. But what's usually behind this disorder is pain. That pain could be rejection, frustration or anything that can be going on in the adolescent life. We work to get behind the behaviors and reduce the pain. We also work to help the family heal and to build stronger bonds within the family so these behaviors won't have to be as disruptive as they feel now. Also some of these behaviors could be associated with an undiagnosed DEPRESSION, ANXIETY DISORDER, or ADHD.
